Spring is in the air!
Lesley loves nothing more than a brisk walk on the beach, especially now that the weather is warmer and Spring is in the air! Debbie and Lesley always take Lesley's little dog Mia out with them, so everyone can get some exercise and some fresh sea air. Afterwards its time for tea, cake, and a chat with friends in the local cafe!
It’s the little things that matter.
Meet Peter, the cheeky chappy that keeps everyone smiling, happy with his tea, toast and a good natter with Debbie.
Peter is always happy to see us and always has a smile for us!
It's so rewarding to see his face light up when we arrive to prepare some lunch or a snack, and to share some great conversation with Peter.
Julia has Parkinson’s Disease and despite the challenges she faces she continues to smile and always puts a smile on our faces.
Julia plays the guitar and continues to learn, and we love to hear her play when we visit.
We support Julia with shopping, light housework, meal preparation and taking her to appointments.
Thank you, Julia, for being such an inspiration to us all!
It’s always an absolute delight to make someone’s day.
Debbie helps Joyce boost her confidence to get up, get dressed, and enjoy a coffee in the sunshine.
Joyce looks forward to our visits, especially on fish and chips day!
One of the team, Donna, said “I just love the look on Joyce’s face when I turn up with her fish and chips. Her smile says it all, and I love to hear about her days of living in London because we have that in common.”
So good to be home again!
After visiting Ron whilst he was in hospital recently, now that he is home again it was lovely to be able to go out for a walk with him to get some fresh air and have a cafe stop for tea and his favourite crimson cake!
